Hello to all my readers and crocheters,
I thought I would write a post about my history and what started me on the path to crochet. I live in a smaller town in Colorado
and I used to be more of a gamer. My first attempt at crochet was when I was about eight years old but I just had no patience to learn. Over the years I was just a typical teenager but I enjoyed being different and dressing different, (goth).
I found out I was pregnant with my son back in 2012 and his father and I decided to get married that November and moved in together. In February of 2013 I tried to crochet but for some reason it just did not "click " still. I feel that at that time I just approached crocheting as if it where math and impossible. After my son was born I had an unfinished baby blanket that only was a single crocheted stitch and two different colors. At this point I couldnt even understand the pattern.
Then in 2014 I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and around 9 months along I picked up the yarn and tried to crochet again. Thats when it clicked and before long I could understand and read patterns, plus I had to fix and alter patterns as well because they made no sense how they where. This was three months into crocheting that this happened. During that time I was also crocheting items to sell, like hats and such. In December of 2014 I did my first craft fair and made $100 that day, and the girl who did the craft fair with me also made $100. This was about six months into crocheting for me and I was writing patterns. I created this blog in the beginning of 2015 and since then I have had some interesting life changes that have had me put this on the back burner at times but I keep posting things when I can and checking up on my blog. Now I crochet a lot of different things and will be advancing my experience because I just found some challenging patterns of a bohemian shawl.
I thank every one of you who read my blog and use my patterns and I hope that you enjoy them very much. Please feel free to follow my blog and leave me some comments on what you think would make my blog better I do want to make every ones experience great on my blog. Happy crocheting every one!
