The Ghosts of Bear River was an exciting book that was written in the perfect fashion for the setting and place . The author's voice shines through, and the characters have very distinct and separate personalities that help the reader to relate to them. While reading the story I couldn't put the book down, except for the fact that I have kids and had too, but we all know that feeling. Regardless I couldn't wait to be able to pick the book back up and read the next chapter. This book is suited for teens and adults because it was thrilling and adventurous but not so much that it was graphic.
I would most definitely recommend this book to friends, and family, and those I do not know. Tonya Tingey is an excellent writer, and I hope she continues to work on her next book and the next after that. To find her book click the link below:
