ch-chain
hdc-half double crochet

Repeat between * -Means to repeat the directions between the two star symbols
Gauge
2"x 2" swatch = 5 rows and 7 hdc
Colors
Color A= Light Pink
Color B=Dark Pink
Color C=Black
Main Body
With main color A ch 21
Round 1- Hdc in second ch from hook and all the way across to second to last ch , 3 hdc in last ch , hdc on opposite side to create the first round making sure to crochet around the chains , when you get to last chain hdc 3 in last chain . Do not join .
Round 2- *Hdc in next 21 stitches and 3 hdc in next st * repeat between * one more time . Do not join .
Round 3-11- Hdc all the way around don't slp st , change to color B
Round 12-13-Hdc all the way around don't slp st , change to color A
Round 14- Sc around , don't slp st , Change to color B
Round 15-16- Hdc around , don't slp st , Change to color A
Round 17- Sc around , don't slp st , Change to color B
Round 18-20- Hdc around , slp st , Do not fasten off yet .
It should be looking like this .
Flap with button holes to close
Row 1- Hdc in next 22 sts , ch 1 , turn .
Row 2- Hdc in blo all the way across , ch 1 , turn .
Row 3- Hdc in flo all the way across , ch 1 , turn .
Rows 4-5 - Repeat rows 2-3 one more time .
Row 6 - In blo , hdc in next 3 sts ,ch 1 , sk next st , * hdc in next 4 sts ,ch 1 , sk next st * repeat between * two more times , hdc in last 3 remaining sts , ch1 , turn .
Row 7- In flo , hdc in next 3 sts , hdc in ch 1 sp * Hdc in next 4 sts , hdc in ch 1 sp * repeat between * until you have the last 3 sts remaining . Hdc in last 3 sts and fasten off making sure to weave in ends .
This is what the main body will look like once your finished .
NOTE : You should have the same amount of stitches you started with .
Last step is to sew on the buttons making sure to line them up correctly with the button holes we just created . Make sure to double knot the buttons when tieing them on , I triple knot mine .
Arms (Make 2)
With color A either magic circle or ch 2
Round 1- 8 hdc in second ch from hook , don not fasten off or slip st .
Continue to crochet in rounds until armm is 3 inches long .
Feet (Make 2)
With color B either magic circle or ch 2 .
Round 1- 8 hdc in second ch from hook , don't slp st change to color A.
Round 2- 2 hdc in each st around , slp st , ch 1.
Round 3-4- Hdc around , slp st , ch 1 .
Round 5- Hdc decrease around
, do not slp st . (8)
Continue to hdc in rounds until soot is 3 inches , slp st and fasten off leaving enough tail to sew with .
Nose
With color B either magic circle or ch 2.
Round 1- 8 sc in second ch from hook , do not slp st to join .
Round 2- * 2 sc in next to sts , 2 hdc in next 2 sts * Repeat between * one more time , switch to color A , slp st , ch 1 .
Round 3- Sc all around nose , slp st , fasten off leaving enough tail to sew with .
Ears
For the ears I used a free pattern off of Repeat Crafter Me . Just go to the website at the bottom . I give this fellow crocheter big koodos she does great work and I like to recognize great work these ears are easy for beginers and the look good as well .
